Black palm - TropiScapes Brisbane
By A Mystery Man Writer
Description
Appears similar to the better known Foxtail palm but apparently is no relation. The Black palm will grow slower and generally has a smaller habit than the Foxtail palm, A much prettier, more ornamental palm that will not produce as much mess and will have a safer root system for smaller garden areas. Should be utilised in the subtropical landscape much more than it currently is. A semi shaded postion is preffered as a young plant but will adapt to full sun positions.
