Decal Review This sheet offers markings for the following options: • P-38F-5-LO, S/No.42-12623, flown by Capt. R.L. Faurot, 39th FS, 35th FG, 5th AF, Port Moresby, New Guinea, January 1943 • P-38G-13, S/No.43-2204, flown by Lt J.G. O'Neill, 9th FS, 49th FG, 5th AF, Dobodura, New Guinea, November 1043 • P-38G-15-LO, S/No.41-7654, flown by Lt J. Hagenback, 94th FS, 1st FG, 12th AF, Monserrato, Sardinia, 1943 • P-38F-15-LO, S/No.43-2166, 27th FS, 1st FG, 2nd AF, Tunisia, summer 1943 • P-38G-15, S/No.43-2384, 80th FS, 8th GF, 5th AF, Dobodura, New Guinea, autumn 1943 The accompany two decal sheets include all the unique markings for the options, some of the coloured bands and the white of the sharksmouth for some, and the red/white version for others. A full set of airframe stencils is included and the second sheet includes various versions of the national insignia. Verdict These are beautifully printed in the Czech Republic, with perfect register and colour. They are nice and glossy with limited areas of carrier film and are thus highly recommended to all USAAF and P-38 modellers.
