Another classic British item, and in-demand vintage piece, the iconic windproof trousers in the windproof camouflage colourway. Again introduced alongside the smock, these were used extensively throughout the war and well into the next decade. Condition These are in very very good condition, and appear to only have been washed once. There was a small wear in waistband (from the pull cord) that I've professionally reinforced and repaired. There is also a little leakage of dye from the waist cord. This will likely wash out. They have an early 1943 dated typed label, a very unusual feature only seen on early examples. Size Tagged a size 2 These will fit anything from a modern 32 to a 38 waist Waist (measured) 20 side to side Inside leg 28 Overall length 42
