By A Mystery Man Writer
Description
Recently, SAGE Eldercare’s Fun-to-be-Fit exercise class participants took a Functional Fitness Test for older adults, which was developed by Cal State Fullerton researchers Roberta E. Rikli, PhD, and Jessie Jones, PhD. The testing was conducted by Maria Alexander of Wellness Studio M in Summit and Claire Bay Marsh, SAGE’s Fun-to-be-Fit class instructor. The purpose of the class is to measure upper- and lower-body strength and flexibility, aerobic endurance, motor agility, and dynamic balance.
